Information we handle

• Website requests. Our hosting and security provider, Cloudflare, processes technical request information such as your IP address, browser or device information, requested URL, and request time to deliver and protect the site.
• Inquiry text you prepare. The inquiry helper asks for a project message, with an optional first name and optional city or neighborhood. Preparing the text does not submit your answers to a server, upload files, or save your answers in the website’s storage. Your browser may separately offer autofill or restore page contents.
• Messages you send. If you choose to send an email or call us, we receive the contact details and message content you provide. An email normally includes your sender address and may include your name, project details, and attachments you choose to send. Opening an email draft may pass its contents to your email app or provider before you send it; Mallon Design Co. receives the message only if you send it.
• Notice preference. If you ask the site to remember that you dismissed the cookie notice, it saves that preference in your browser’s local storage. See our Cookie Policy.

Do not include payment-card details, government identification numbers, health information, passwords, or other sensitive information in a general inquiry. A street address and room photos are not needed for an initial inquiry. If we later need information to arrange an in-home visit, we will discuss it directly.

Why we use information

We use information to deliver and secure this website, respond to questions, assess whether a project is a good fit, arrange requested services, manage the resulting business relationship, and meet legal or recordkeeping obligations. We use the information reasonably needed for those purposes.

Preparing or sending an inquiry does not subscribe you to marketing. We will not use an inquiry as permission for a marketing mailing list; any future marketing signup will be a separate choice.

We do not sell personal information, share it for targeted advertising, or use this site for cross-site advertising tracking.

Service providers and sharing

• Cloudflare: hosts and delivers the website and provides network security. Cloudflare may use security cookies when its protection features require them. See Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy and its cookie documentation.
• Google / Gmail: handles emails sent to mallondesignco@gmail.com. Your own email app or provider may process draft content as soon as you open an email draft, as well as messages you send. See Google’s Privacy Policy.
• Other disclosures: we may disclose information when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect legal rights, address fraud or security incidents, or work with professional advisers who need it for those purposes.

We do not load embedded social feeds, maps, external fonts, advertising pixels, or third-party analytics scripts. Links to Instagram, Facebook, retailers, or other external websites take you to services with their own privacy practices. Merely viewing this website does not load those social services.

Service providers may process information in the United States or other countries where they operate.

Storage, retention, and security

We keep correspondence and project records for as long as reasonably needed to respond to you, provide agreed services, keep necessary business records, or meet legal obligations. The appropriate period depends on the information and the purpose. Hosting and email providers manage information under their applicable terms and retention practices.

The site uses HTTPS to protect data in transit. No website or email service can guarantee complete security. Please send only what is needed, and contact us if you believe information has been disclosed in error.

This website is intended for people seeking residential design services and is not directed to children under 13. Please contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information so we can review and address it.

Your choices and privacy requests

You can use the direct email link instead of the inquiry helper, leave optional fields blank, and close a prepared email draft without sending it. Copying a draft places it on your device’s clipboard only when you choose that action; your device’s clipboard settings then apply.

To ask about information we hold, request a correction or deletion, or raise a privacy concern, email mallondesignco@gmail.com with “Privacy request” in the subject. Please describe the request without sending identity documents or unnecessary sensitive details. We may request limited information to verify that the request concerns your information.

Depending on where you live and whether a particular law applies, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information, and to appeal a denied request. We will respond as required by applicable law and explain any applicable limits. If you disagree with our response, reply to the same address and ask us to reconsider. You may also contact your state’s consumer protection authority.

There is no sale or targeted advertising to opt out of on this site. Browser privacy signals such as Global Privacy Control do not need to disable any additional advertising processing here. You can clear the notice preference through your browser’s site-data controls; see the cookie controls explanation.
